Hiiii!
I’m a dedicated mom and wife first, and the Founder & CEO of Passion2Give. I’m also a Certified Professional Life Coach specializing in self-love and empowerment, alongside being a mentor, worship leader, singer-songwriter, and mental health advocate. My deepest passion lies in uplifting and empowering others—giving hope, inspiring change, and motivating people is at the heart of everything I do. Outside of my professional life, I’m an enthusiastic extrovert who loves connecting with others and embracing every moment with joy!
Behind every smile is a story, and mine is woven with challenges and difficult choices, yet marked by the transformative power of grace. The hardships from my childhood into adulthood stand as a testament to God’s Grace and Mercy. In our moments of weakness, His Grace shines the brightest.
Making a difference in someone’s life fills me with profound joy. It’s easy to assume that a smile means everything is perfect, but everyone fights battles we may never see. This is why it’s crucial to be kind and to love out loud. I am particularly drawn to those who feel forgotten, unwanted, unloved, rejected, overlooked, or hopeless. Having walked that path myself, I find it easier to connect with, relate to, and support those individuals. You can’t lead someone where you haven’t been yourself.
Despite the struggles of my youth, music has always been my refuge and a source of healing. Each song I write is a reflection of my journey and my truth, crafted to resonate with others who share similar experiences.
Growing up, I was blessed with mentors who inspired me to believe in and love myself. Now, my hope is to inspire and spread love to as many people as possible, helping them experience the freedom and peace that comes from moving beyond fear.
Throughout my career, I have had the honor of making significant appearances and contributions. In 1999, I was featured on the Queen Latifah Show, where I had the privilege of inspiring and encouraging youth across communities. My journey has included auditions for prestigious singing competitions such as Houston Idol, Gospel Idol, Gimme the Mic, The Voice, American Idol, and Sunday’s Best. These experiences, which advanced me to the second round of American Idol and the third round of Sunday’s Best, have been pivotal in my artistic development.
I was also part of Nicki Cruz’s compelling stage play, “Run Baby Run,” showcasing my versatility as a performer. My high-profile performances include singing the National Anthem at Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, California, and at the Arena Theatre in Houston, Texas. I have performed at Sylvester Turner’s Campaign Ball, opened for Dennis Rogers in New Mexico—a renowned figure featured on Oprah Winfrey, Steve Harvey, the History Channel, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not—and shared the stage with celebrated artists such as Israel & Newbreed, Jason Crabb, Daniel Johnson, Tye Tribbett & GA, and Kim Burrell during various significant events and Global Force’s annual conference.
Reflecting on my journey, I am deeply grateful for every mentor, role model, and supporter who has guided and encouraged me along the way. Words cannot fully capture my appreciation, but I strive to honor their impact by being a beacon of hope for others.
Life’s journey is filled with highs and lows, and each day presents an opportunity for growth, learning, and deepening self-love. I embrace this continuous journey of personal development with an open heart and a commitment to loving myself more each day.
At the core of my life are two key principles: Love God and Love People. My faith in God guides everything I do, and I strive to live out my beliefs through my actions. I am dedicated to treating others with kindness, compassion, and respect, always guided by empathy and a genuine concern for their well-being.
